All you need to know…
Before your wax
Before your wax you will need to stop shaving, plucking or using hair removal cream for 3 weeks (2 weeks is ok but 3 weeks is better)
iIt is best to avoid using sunbeams for 48 hours before your wax.
On the day
Ideally you should go to the gym, swimming , running etc before your appointment so that you don’t experience irritation from sweating after your wax
We politely ask you to shower on the morning of your appointment and not to trim the hair that is to be waxed (we will do that for you if it is needed, it’s all part of the service.
When you arrive
There is plenty of parking on the street directly outside of the clinic
we don’t have a receptionist and the door is always kept locked. please wait until the time of your appointment and then ring the door bell to let us know you have arrived
We kindly ask you not to arrive early as this will help us finish the previous client without interruption and keep us running on time
After Care
On the day of your treatment you may experience redness, a little swelling or bumpiness. This is all normal and will subside within the day
It is advisable not to use sunbeds for 48 hours after your treatment
You should avoid activities such as the gym, jogging and swimming for 24 hours
You should not apply perfumed or tanning products to the skin for 24 hours
We advise to wait 48 hours and then begin a daily routine of gentle exfoliation using exfoliation mitts and a layer of moisturiser to the waxed area to keep it free from ingrown hairs
We recommend a regular waxing appointment every 4 weeks, with no shaving or hair removal cream in between
